A Sad Day For Our Local

It is with a heavy heart that the Executive Board is informing the membership of Local 6360 of the passing of Jeff Hayes after a brief battle with cancer. Jeff was an active union member from day one when he started at AT&T in 2006. He was later appointed as a Chief Steward and then moved up the ranks to a Vice President position and then to Executive Vice President. His last office held with Local 6360 was a brief time as President before taking a promotion as a Campaign Lead for District 6. Jeff was an advocate for those who wanted to organize and an ally to those in the labor community. He was instrumental in the success of the annual charity golf tournament and with our Christmas Angel program each year. His voice and activism will be missed, not just by this local but by the labor community as a whole. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate through this difficult time.
